Nice change to the genre and good variation with skill levels. The cit scenes are faultless although there is the element of repetitive gamplay and a little easier in places despite difficulty levels. All in all a good game - fans of the original series will love it.
fantastic return to form for lara croft! this game has everything! gripping story, fantastic graphics, sound's excelent! the story takes you all over the world from china to cornwall. My only one gripe is..like with most next gen games.... its slightly to easy, gone are the head scratching puzzels of the first. although im not sure if this is just down to the fact that there is so much detail it actualy makes it easier to see what u are supposed to do!!! rather than guess or trial and error!!. i recomend this game on visuals alone (if you take out the driving sections). as close as u get to an interactive story book!
Ive played all the tomb raider games from the 1st version on the sega saturn. I was a bit apprehensive with this one as the others got to be Rock SOlid to play and complete. I put this one in, and, couldnt put it down untill i completed it some hours later. Its the dogs danglies, itsd really good. Some of the level scenery is breathtaking. The japanese skyline scene and the Himalayan mountains level are particularly good. The level of detail os superb and the music is as atmospheric as it used to be. Yes its challenging. I havent played a game for a while where i couldnt put it down. Well looking forward to the next one.
Finally, a good Tomb Raider game. This game is thouroughly enjoyable. Aside from completing the game, you've also got achievements to get by way of collecting things and being quick. It wasn't short but I'd have loved the game to be longer just because it was so enjoyable. I find myself now actually looking forward to the next adventure.
