No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle continues the tale of punk anti-hero Travis Touchdown, the Japanese anime Otaku, and pro wrestling-obsessed assassin. Travis finds himself at the bottom of the UAA (United Assassins Association) rankings and must wage war to become the No. 1 assassin once again. The follow-up to the popular No More Heroes will offer fans infectious, fun gameplay that allows you to wield not just one, but two swords and face multiple bosses simultaneously in bigger-than-ever boss battles.

A great sequel to a great game, this strips out the in-joke sandbox world of the original to allow players to concentrate on the main business of revenge and over the top boss fights. The job system is back but now there is no more need to grind for money to continue the story. Instead money is there to pay for optional accessories, stat upgrades and equipment. The jobs have been changed to mini-games rendered in 8 bit glory complete with chip tune music. Some are better than others but there is a good level of variety and humour still there. It's not perfect, there are some minor niggles with the camera in the platforming sections but these are mercifully brief and infrequent. A great, fun game and a worthy sequel.
