didn't get to play this one, the mrs took it as she loves the final fantasy games. After playing it for 4 hours she insisted I buy it for her. So I guess it's a good game
First off, don't listen to the person that gave this game a 15% rating. The person only gave this game two hours of their time, and anyone that knows the RPG genre knows that you need to give these kinds of games a little bit more time to open up into themselves, and boy... does this game do that. The story is fantastic. It's a lot more mature than what you're used to seeing with the Final Fantasy series, and in many ways... it's better. I loved the story and it's enough to play the game for that alone. It also helps that the soundtrack is one of the best I've ever heard for an RPG game in a long time. The gameplay is excellent with a few tweaks that I feel add to the turn based fighting. The character development is great throughout as well. Don't let the 4 discs put you off. This is around a 50-60 hour game, and quite honestly... I didn't want it to end. Believe me, if you're an RPG fan and haven't played this game, you owe it to yourselves to rent it. You will not regret it. This is coming from someone that's been apart of Boomerang going on nearly 2 years now, and it should tell you something that this is my first review. Highly recommended.
