The orders are simple: hunt down and execute a rogue agent that has stolen top-secret intelligence and millions in Agency cash. For agent Rico Rodriguez, the mission is anything but routine. The target is Tom Sheldon, Rico's former commanding officer, mentor and friend; a man who knows Rico better than he knows himself.
Sheldon went dark while operating in the corrupt island nation of Panau. There, three rival gangs wage war in the streets while the ruthless dictator Baby Panay rules the island with an iron fist. With the resources of the Agency at his disposal, Rico must infiltrate the island and locate Sheldon, setting off a violent chain of events that will set Panau ablaze.
Each of Rico's assignments can be tackled by land, sea or air with more than 100 vehicles including tactical jeeps, attack helicopters and jet fighters. As the Agency's best, Rico can execute a range of breathtaking new stunts, utilising his trademark parachute and upgraded grapple to reach any location in Panau. Somewhere on the 400 square mile island of white sand beaches, scorching deserts and snow-capped peaks, Sheldon awaits.
Buy Just Cause 2 on XBOX360
For me I loved every min playing this game from start to finish...A+
Good graphics but N64/PS1 standard AI and terrible mission design - go here, go there, go over there etc. Beautiful environment is only redeeming feature.
Just Cause 2 is the 2nd in the series, following on from Just Cause released in 2006. The best way to describe the Just Cause games are that they are fully free roaming. You can go anywhere and advance the main story only when you feel like you want to. There are a huge amount of side quests. These can be a little repetitive at times but on the whole its a good thing. You can also take part in the many races in the game. They range from using different vehicles to different difficulties. Ok graphics and sound. Graphically the game is really good. Different terrains from jungles to deserts stop the constant travelling getting boring. All sound in the game is well done and just right. The game play is really very good and you can have hours of fun with the grappling hook alone.Overall this game is really good and offers a great deal of fun for all players whether new or veterans. There is plenty of re playability since you will probably find different ways to have fun in this massive game. Rent this game you really won't regret it. Except for the repetitive nature at times this is one of the best games out there and I score it a 91
This game is awesome. But mostly this game makes me cry. Why have they ruined it? The controls are awkward, it is awesome to grapple hook soldiers to other things suck as helicopters to drag them in a disturbing yet satisfying blood lust. Collectables everywhere, far too many missions and so much to do you may die before you get th chance... so pretty impressive, but it was annoying and despite a good 40 odd hours of playing, I didn't get around to finishing, due to getting distracted and getting into far to many fights, I couldn't take anymore. So, yeah, mixed messages.
Very good action game. You will hate it if you don't like sandbox style games because there is very little in the way of structure to this game. Blow stuff up, journey to points on the map to start missions then complete very similar missions over and over. Fairly normal for a sandbox game. The freedom makes this game brilliant. You can drive/pilot/skipper anything with a motor. There are a reasonable amount of guns and lots of space to explore. It's pretty much non stop action. Well worth hiring.
Was pretty good but started to get a bit repetitive.
great game
I love this game. Have had it for nearly four weeks and clocked over 140 hours playing and only completed 52%. Great graphics, smooth playing, some very small cliches, IE, if persuade by arm, they have a great ability to shot through walls whereas you cant. Will definitely rent out again to complete.
amazing game,good story,incredible graphics.must buy!
