The next Guitar Hero is here! Get ready to thrash with the definitive collection of Metallica's music and over 20 other rocking bands on guitar, drums, vocals and bass. Up to four players can join together and rock locally, or battle other bands online with up to 8 players. Guitar Hero: Metallica includes the "Rock Star Creator," playing with friends online, the full Music Studio and the user-created music sharing service, Guitar Hero Tunes. Finally play the Death Magnetic downloadable content as Metallica.
The game supports two kick pedals in a new "Expert+" mode, letting you drum like Lars on two bass drums. Go deeper into Metallica with videos straight from Metallica concerts and the option to test your Metallica know-how on any song you beat with facts on the band's history, and how guest acts are tied to Metallica. Metallica has added their own touch from the attacks in Battle Mode to the effects in the Music Studio.

Just like Rock Bands music is more american influenced then so is GH Metallica. Considering that they have only charted 4 or 5 songs in the UK in 20 years I found it strange that GH used Metallica. Anyway since I enjoy GH a lot, I decided to give it a try. This is definetly one for the Metallica fans. Some songs are fun to play but eventually most are repetitive and eventually grind you down. It also has the most boring and repetitive song in the GH series so far.(Bob Seger) You will see what i mean when you play it. For me this is the worst GH so far....yip aerosmith was better due to the tunes being more melodic giving you plenty of button changes. If you like holding down 2 buttons at a time and battering the strummer then this games for you but if you like to feel like your playing a tune then be glad that your just renting it. My review is based on guitar only. When are they gonna do a GH Queen? I wish.
