There is no denying that DMC4 is a very stylish game that oozes cool, the main characters, the gothic settings, the combat, its all done superbly. The gameplay perhaps isn't quite as strong. Don't get me wrong, DMC is a joy to play but there is a lot of backtracking - so much so that you literally go all the way though the game with Nero and then walk all the way back with Dante. Also having to face every game boss for a third time is tiresome. These things take little away from the fact that DMC4 is a great game.
