Lets get one thing over with first; the graphics aren't going to win the game award. Ok. Give this game a chance. Two hours in and the story really grips you!
This has to be the most difficult game to review. I'll get the bad out of the way, the graphics are terrible, movement painful and the driving is shocking, however none of them detract from what is a brilliantly written murder mystery reminscent of Twin Peaks (which sadly I am old enough to remember) The game is bordering on insanity and perfection. I am gripped, the characters are interesting, plot is intriguing and at times it's downright scary. The open world environment lives and breathes around you, you have to eat and sleep and interact with the community going about their daily business. It's extremely engaging. The combat is a bit similar to Resident Evil 4 but not as smooth. Don't get me wrong it can irritate in terms of the mechanics, but its worth it. Trust me!!
