In the future, Earth's appetite for resources has become a major motivator for deep space exploration. Immense, privately-owned and operated mining ships called "planetcrackers" orbit planets and use sophisticated equipment to carve out entire city-sized chunks of rock, and reduce them to component elements and raw ore.
Communications with one of these planetcrackers, the USG Nishimura, have ceased while the ship is engaged in deep space mining operations.
The company's top engineer, Isaac Clarke, is sent to discover the problem and fix it. Once onboard the vessel, Clarke discovers that a terrifying alien presence has taken over the ship, and has horribly killed the crew. Weaponless and terrified, this lone engineer is burdened with much more than simple survival - he holds the fate of all mankind in his hands.

I thought this was a Great game due to the interesting storyline and the scare factor as it kept we on the edge of my seat the whole time and i can't wait to play the next one

great game one the best i have played in a longtime, fantastic gameplay great graphics , 1 in game tip without spoiling anything dont bother with any weapon apart from the one you're giving in the start of the game the rest are RUBBISH
Visually very good. The story is sound and it plays well, i sent this game back without finishing as it was too slow, i couldnt get into it.
Quality game, looks and sounds great well recommended. Dont play this with the lights off.
This game is a good game....while it lasts, its pretty short for a survival horror, the re-playability is there if you choose, but Ive only done it for the trophies. Graphics are nice, controls are fairly smooth, and story is'nt brilliant but adds a basis to the backbone of the game. Overall well worth a shout.
absolutely amazing game. as usual a very open ended ending but thats commercialism for you. if you like being scared to death like old school resi did - then this is for you!
