Burnout 5 gives players license to wreak havoc in Paradise City, the ultimate seamless racing battleground, with a massive infrastructure of traffic-heavy roads to abuse. Gone is the need to jump in and out of menus and aimlessly search for fun like many open world games - in Burnout 5, every inch of the world is built to deliver heart-stopping Burnout-style gameplay. Every intersection is a potential crash junction and every alleyway is an opportunity to rack up moving violations.
Of course, rules are made to be broken, and when gamers enter Paradise City, they're assigned a Drivers License that quickly begins to amass a record of player's most aggressive, reckless and destructive exploits behind the wheel. But it's not the law that's eyeing player's progress... when gamers push things too hard they'll be squaring off against the city's most infamous burners, and these legends aren't interested in who crosses the finish line first.
Burnout 5 also delivers the next level of speed and destruction, with brand new next-generation technology allowing gamers to literally rip their cars in half, in the most explosive pile-ups in the series' history.

Great graphics, great gameplay, great cars and very original... does get very repetitive though.
This is a good burnout game don't get me wrong... but at the moment it is not as fun as Burnout Revenge. It is much easier than the previous title to win the various events, and I really did miss the crash events (the new free crash mode to start a crash anytime any place doesn't match up... as there's no limits and the you can keep on crashing cars until you reach the score). No split screen party as yet either (DLC coming to live next year I believe) so thats another minus. Not being able to jump to events is also a little annoying unless i missed that part, especially on when failing time trial runs for each vehicle (a retry button is desperately needed). Its not bad, but could of been so much better if they'd kept some of the previous features in.
Okay, but gets a bit repetitive after a while.
Such a good game! Like all the other reviews this scores very high, if you've played any of the previous burnouts before then you'll know how much mayhem there is. This time though its more like Test Drive, where you're in a free world and you drive to certain places in order to do races or events. There are the usual races, such as point A-B and general races. New events include marked an where you have to drive to your destination and all other cars are after you trying to ram you off and stopping you. This game is worth buying though if ur a big fan, or if ur wanting to try it out then rent it for a few days.
this one is a great game. basically to free roam around the city and then stop at traffic lights to start one of the several race types. There are a-b races, stunt where you have to perform tricks, marked man where you have to get from a-b without being mashed off the road by numerous other cars hell bent on seeing you crash by any means. road rage this is where you have to send a certain number of cars off the road in the time limit. There are a mix of cars where as you progress through the game you need to pick an appropriate car for the race. The game plays well the crashes are what it's all about and they looked great. This game will keep you entertained for hours I enjoyed this myself and might even rent it again. There were two things that bugged me in the game though. When you crash there is a big camera shot of it, which when your in a race is not wanted you want to carry on driving not break it up by a 30 sec clip of you crash. And the other thing the car physics are not that good. Car just doesn't feel right. But those aside you will still have a lot of fun with this game. Add it to your pipeline
