With 4 distinct character classes, 46 weapons, 15 gadgets, 13 character specialisations and over 15000 kit variations to discover and master players will be able to fine-tune their preferred fighting style to give them the edge in combat.

For me the single player was better, online play was to buggy for me I give it 8/10
Great campaign, didn't like voice acting, but everything else was top class. Multiplayer is epic, but matches last 20 years, which is pretty long, but perhaps (I'm just more used to the quick accessible orgy of action of the Call of Duty series...

An exciting multiplayer, very different to most shooting games like Call Of Duty & Rainbow Six, Battlefield Bad Company 2 is for everyone, as you are not tied back to the corner in multiplayer and have a chance of having a good round even if your not a constant gamer. Very good online features with the defend and attacking bases, I seemed to enjoy this more than Call Of Duty and that's saying some think. But still not interested with vehicles in the online feature, very one sided sometimes. The Story line seems a bit cheesy, but with some very good missions and affects which makes it quite exciting. Most of the time your hunting for ammo in the game which makes you use all the weapons they provide you with. A very much improvement from the first Bad Company game. My rating out of 10: 8
Single player campaign is a lot of fun and can be quite challenging in places. The story keeps you interested and the dialogue between the characters can be pretty funny. Multiplayer is just awesome. The ranking system is brilliant, and to unlock everything requires some serious hours in front of the Xbox. This game feels more realistic (read: less arcadey) than CoD MW2. I'd say there was more skill required in BC2. Driving all the different vehicles is brilliant, I especially love the tanks. Destructible environments is what really sets this apart from other shooters. Being able to blow huge holes in the walls of buildings to reveal enemy snipers is deeply satisfying. The only downside (and this is pretty minor) is that no one seems to use the in-game voice chat. If players just chatted in their squads I think it would really improve gameplay. I love this game though.
One word to describe - Brilliant. Servers for multiplayer means very low amounts of lag, graphics are superb and general gameplay is just right. One thing to do straight away tho is turn up the sensitivity. For those of you who play call of duty you will quickly see why. Overall though has knocked call of duty out of my xbox completely!
fantastic ..... a million times better, fun & adictive than MW2, once this has been sent back .... i shall be purchasing it!!!!

Brilliant game really enjoyed it well worth renting mw2 is a better strait shooter but with the vehicals and the online missions this is much better in that respect it really is a quality game
