It's the main event for all Yu-Gi-Oh! fans around the globe as the annual World Championship gets underway with the release of this latest Yu-Gi-Oh! game that could lead to the ultimate glory for one talented trading card game master. Being the official game of the World Championship 2008 Tournament, this is the one that anybody wanting to lay claim to being the number one needs to own. It features over 2,000 cards and faithfully reproduced structure decks as well as adding the new 'Expert Rules' option that appears in the official Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. Local and worldwide wireless play via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection is also included and enables the user to duel against fellow fans in the World Champion mode as well as solving puzzles and learning new tricks and tactics in the Duel World mode. That's not the end of the Online content however, as new characters and cards will also become available for users to download in the weeks after launch. The Duel interface has also undergone an optimisation to sharpen it up and cut scenes have also been added duels to add yet more authenticity as the game is based on the ever-popular TV show.
