Nothing is as it seems in Square Enix’s latest action adventure game Nier. Set in a crumbling world plagued by disease and dark, unrecognisable characters the game delivers intense action-packed battles, explosive magic and storytelling like no other.   Players assume the role of the unyielding titular protagonist Nier, set on his quest to discover a cure for his daughter, who is infected with the Black Scrawl virus. With the help of powerful allies and a mysterious book, Nier encounters things that will confound even the mightiest of warriors.   Player will battle against evil creatures and unleash brutal combat moves along with devastating combo attacks. Unlock an arsenal of devastating weapons, each with its own characteristics to master. When his sword isn’t enough, Nier can call on a remarkable array of stylish and powerful spells to unleash crushing blows to enemies near and far. As players progress, upgraded spells will help to defeat ever more deadly enemies.  Combining a beautiful, immersive world with dynamic visual, Nier challenges you to tackle dark and mysterious enemies through action-packed swordplay and explosive magic spells. And with plot twists hiding around every corner, Nier’s story needs to be seen to be believed.

Nier is a very good game, with a unique story and gameplay style it was a very different direction that Square took one of there games in and I think it did very well. Even though the game is a slow speed game

Tis game starts out really great,a sort of rpg hack n slash game,with bizzare enenies. After 4 or 5 hours it gets extemely long winded & gets to the stage where you just can't be bothered anymore. Some people may like it but i just couldn't get into it.
